This kind of therapy focuses on the individual’s present circumstances and future goals rather than delving into the past. It looks towards the skills, resources and abilities that the individual has to meet the goals they need.

Therapy happens through a series of questions about coping strategies, hopes for the future, resources and much more.

The goal is to provide fast, effective and realistic solutions to the problems you are facing, and without involving the individual in long, ongoing treatment sessions. It is based on the idea that you can’t get well if nothing changes about the circumstances or environment that brought you to this point.
